Sexy lady.  Is she a cosplayer or is this some wrestler I'm not familiar with?  I've stopped following WWE long ago.

Original character I created!  Her look was based off the "Thorne" character from Heroine Legends short video series; I bought the costume they used in the series after the actress that played Thorne (Kristina Hess, also one of the owners of the production company that made the Heroine Legends videos) was forced out, took the other owner (her ex-boyfriend) to court and won... so he ended up stopping production on Heroine Legends videos and pretty much ended using the characters, which is where I stepped in.

The look is the only thing the same between Thorne and Azure.  Everything else was given a complete re-write.

I just looked up this Super Heroines and it looks fun.  Sexy women dress up in cosplay costumes and wrestle with fun storylines ripped straight from the comics.  Unfortunately it looks like this lawsuit killed the series since every episode was taken off youtube.  I can't find them anywhere which is a shame because they look like something I would love to watch.

Yeah, the lawsuit/civil case was pretty much the end of it.  Most producers of superhero/superheroine videos don't make much, if any, money (IIRC, Kristina actually had to go to her parents for money help at a point) - more something to add to a resume or film reel.  I believe their website is still active, but the videos are pretty expensive.

And with all that... can you believe I'm actually looking into filming something with the costumes and characters (Azure, Sapphire and the like) myself?  I mean, Mass Communications AS major over here... xD

I can't get over how much they're charging for their episodes.  They go anywhere from $6 to over $22 a piece.  I can buy an entire season of Star Trek on PSN for $20 so no way would I shell out that much for a single twenty minute episode.  Now if they all were just $2-3 a pop than I would definitely buy a couple to see if I would like the rest.  His insane pricing is just discouraging potential customers.  I understand needing to recoop lost legal costs but he's thinking short term and not in the long run.

I hope your series turns out well.  I'm already intrigued.

Well, the whole "Superheroines" genre is pretty niche, so if producers were to sell videos at that low rate, they'd be losing money hand over fist and would be out of producing videos for the genre in a pretty quick span of time.  I think the cheapest videos released in the genre are by Next Global Crisis, but I have no idea as to whether or not the owner/producer is putting in a ton of his own money to make up for losses, or if he's actually making any money off his releases.  Most videos are made for ~$2,500-$3,000 USD, depending on the number of actors/actresses used, locations that have to be rented, equipment that has to be rented (or outright purchased), and however many crew members you have working along with you; some double up and will do make-up and be a "Production Assistant," helping the director/producer with additional stuff on set.

Also: thanks!  I'm far, far away from actually filming anything - money is the biggest thing.  If all goes to plan, I may film something in like, April or May of next year, and then take my time editing it all together and release it afterwards.

I don't know. You'd have to ask the commissioner

Her outfit reminds me of an amalgam of Kitana's MK9 Alt and Jade's default in MKA.
