Fields of Green

The day brings a sky of red and crimson, And ribbons of flame crown the sky. The fires burn in heaven and on earth, Twisting all into a morass of black. Nothing but ashes and shadows remain, Nobodies in a world of twilight. But when night comes and all is dark, I dream of fields of green.

Alpha Seven was right. I relayed to her my congratulations. Theta Nine was reassured by the fact that they had not forgotten us. And then, of course, went back to worrying, since the finished models were now done. There is no need for prototypes if the product is finished. I suppose I am anxious as to what happens now as well. I suppose we all are. These new models, however, look incredibly different from any of us prototypes. I must compliment our creators, going from us to them in such a short amount of time, and without any further testing. The Binary Field is a lonely place. I've heard that new arrivals will be coming soon, however. That's nice. That should make things around here much more lively. At least, I hope so. It was rather enjoyable when I first arrived, but it has been a while since then. I suppose testing has finished since then. Alpha Seven believes the new arrivals will be the finished models. I suppose that makes sense, since it's been such a long time since we last received somebody in the field. We used to get regular updates, but they stopped a while ago. At first, Theta Nine thought we had simply been forgotten, but we managed to convince him that this was

A good question would potentially be why such an important room was always kept so dimly lit. One would think that a healthy amount of lighting would perhaps be useful for the debates and arguments that typically went on, if only to allow those arguing to see who they were arguing with. But the Hall of the Representative Council had always been that way, and nobody was quite willing enough to argue with tradition. A silly thing, tradition; it might be regarded as nonsensical and pointless, and yet people were willing to go along with it, simply because that was the way it had always been.
