This was taken just before fall started this year. My mom saw four Common Egrets and a juvenile Great Blue Heron fishing in the park, so I drove down there to snap some shots. This was with my regular lens that came with my camera so the egrets are on the tiny side. Don't worry, the close ups of the egrets will be up soon.
There are a lot of these shots since it's rare to see so many in one pond, especially in a very active park like this one. Watching them spear fish in the water is magical . . . it makes you want to cheer for them when they catch their meal.
