House caught fire while at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2014. I did have a raid mirror setup, but both drives where subjected to serious heat. I haven't taken them in to a data recovery service yet, but I did get an estimate of $5,000. I don't have that kind of money. So, for the time being, all photos before AWA 2014 can be considered lost. I do have some saved in stash, and will be uploading those.
I have a new computer now. I have also gotten a lot better at processing photos.

I was on the 11th floor of the Marriott Marquis, first shoot of the day on Friday, at DragonCon, with one tripod, one umbrella, one flash, and one cosplayer. We were at the end of corridor, next to a window, and not blocking traffic or doors. A guy working for the con asked me to come over to talk with him. He was polite and told me that no "professional setups" were allowed. There had been complaints, previous years, about people charging for photos. I said I never charge for photos (never at DragonCon and rarely other times.) He said it still wasn't allowed.
I shot the rest of the con without using any tripods in convention space. I d
