#155.5 - While they are naturally timid Pokemon, as Cyndaquil mature they gain confidence when they learn to better control the fire on their backs. The flammable spots that are developing on their head cannot produced a flame yet, but their lengthening bodies increase their nimbleness, allowing them to quickly dodge and return attacks.
#156.5 - As Quilava age and significantly bulk up, they grow another layer of fur on top of their fire-resistant coat, which can cause fierce explosions when rubbed together. Their fire power is often linked to their emotions, so trainers should take care to treat their Quilavas well and to have earned their respect before the evolution is complete.
