I’m glad to finally share my mini comic.
This is the second complete comic I have ever made. The first one I created when I was little. It was titled: ‘Man Eating Pickles from Outer Space’. (Technically I never finished that either since it was a two parter.) So considering--I am proud to have finished this haha.

I do agree that it is important to act differently than you are used when it is harmful.
Thank you for reading and for your comment!
All in all, I think the comic is an expressive dark parody of the vicious cycle(s) of insomnia and psychological trauma in general.
Making it a short is definitely something I'm considering!
I appreciate the thoughtful comment and for giving it a read!
My method was a bit convoluted in the making of this comic.
I first thumb nailed each page and got the general gist of what I wanted from each panel. I drew just the borders of all the panels in a page and fit them on one regular 8.5x11 piece of paper. Once you get the length of the two sides that make your panel, scale them up proportionally as much as you reasonably can so that you have to room to pack all the detail you want.
In general its good to draw your panels bigger than you plan to print them/share them so that the quality will be good.
Now that you have the enlarged version of your panel, you can draw. After you're done, scan them and compile the panels into pages in Photoshop or whatever you use.
My math wasn't so great when making this out of lack of patience and efficiency...so i ended up transforming (stretching, cropping, squashing) some panels to make them fit perfectly in my page template.
No one really taught me this method and like i said it a bit convoluted, but i hope this helps/makes sense. If you have any other questions I'd love to elaborate.
Why she get eaten too?
Did she want to?
She didn't want to and the monster didn't want to eat her either.
It was a choice though. Its supposed to reveal the nature of her relationship with these two people. That some can unfortunately be/become dependent on obviously toxic relationships.
Thanks for asking my friend!
...to me anyways
I don't know about anyone else hahaha
I think that since we often use 'monster' as a noun or as a sub for any kind of horned, toothy, hairy thing and not just a descriptor of someone's evil nature, it can be sadly reduced to how something looks. So as long as something looks freakish, for ex. the cookie monster, we call it a monster.
I think we can safely call a monster who kills people and only eats potatoes,,, a monster. Unless this is some majestic, magical and mesmerizing looking creature that you're thinking of...
