Summer-ness

Wow.. so my life is... very eventfull right now. And I still have a lot of people to hang out with this summer! (not to mention needing to actually see my two best friends!)

I need surgery on both of my feet because I have what they call Bunions. It sounds like a very painful and discusting surgery, since there is breaking and shaving of bone needed. So not looking forward to that, even if it's not this summer!

I really need to practice my Japanese. I went into a restruant today and said "Arigato" to the man who was speaking to me, and apparently because of my accent, he thought I used to live there. So then he asked me where I lived in Japan, in Japanese. So I tried to explain that I've only taken one class and I plan to go in about a year to study abroad there. He seemed very interrested, and he complimented me on my apparently "very good" Japanese accent. hehe.

So it's been about a month of summer so far. I've been working at Great Harvest quite a bit, but it's been good. I've also got a significant boy in my life who has been keeping my attention and my time. It's been taking me a while to get artwork done, so I appologize for the minimal pieces put up thus far. I did, however, put a lot of my crappy stuff into my scraps, so it's a little more focused in my actual gallery. It's taking me a while to get things done also because I'm trying to apply what I learned in my Physics of Art class to my artwork so that it looks better. Let me know how I'm doing!

You know what I think DeviantArt needs? I think it'd be wonderful to have the ability to sort and categorize the artwork in our galleries. Don't you? I think so.
