Descent into Madness: Luna

I've been thinking about what happened to Luna before the whole Nightmare Moon thing lately, so I finally buckled down to draw my idea (Which took forever! Confound these ponies!) I haven't seen much of Nightmare Moon originally being Luna's friend, companion, etc since she is often portrayed as evil and possessive. And I thought, "Why couldn't Celestia give Luna a chance or do something when she knew Luna was probably suffering over the fact that her hard work wasn't being received and was being ignored. She could have been suffering from depression, loneliness, or problems with her self-worth over the fact. Where was precious older sister in all of this?" Just a thought
Might do a Pinkie Pie origins since I've drawn some of that on paper... I dunno.
Too much pony! Listened to Bronyville Podcast while drawing this. First podcast I've ever listened to. Had a ton of fun listening and drawing this. Hope you like it!

EDIT2: People keep accusing me of making Celestia a tyrant and being too one sided. Here is my comment:

"Oh I really don't think Celestia is a cruel tyrant. But when I tried to make Celestia's reply softer it didn't work as well. I think that Celestia must have had a lot of work to do, and because she was the eldest she would also have to watch over Equestria and deal with the more governmental issues, such as paperwork, laws, etc. I was imagining that for this Celestia was getting a bit tired and just worn out. Luna was much younger so she might have been up to antics before, and Celestia just didn't have the time or nerves to deal with her. I like to imagine that Celestia has her flaws too! Probably after this when Nightmare Moon is banished, Celestia has a lot of regret over not paying closer attention to her. But like I said in the description, these are just my thoughts."
