Angel's boots thudded against the gray concrete of the city. Her brain guilting her with every step that she needed to be studying for an upcoming exam for her gross anatomy class. Yet she trekked forward in curious search of the so called "monster" that lurked in the bad side of town. Did she expect to see anything? No. Just the old buildings that were either on the edge of collapse or sturdy enough to hide rats and people not exactly wanting to be found. She never looked too close at doorways or alleyways to avoid finding something or someone she didn't want attention from. Just in search of a monster cat that was hunting pets - the supposed man-eater was like a ghost - as soon as it was spotted - it was gone. People made claims of missing dogs and cats - most notable claim was the local scrapyard noting that their 4 guard dogs were all missing in the span of 3 weeks. She managed to find an old bus stop and stepped inside for a break from the sun and to retrieve a water bottle
