Hey guys! It's been a while, hasn't it? Let me begin by saying; I am very sorry I abandoned this site. I didn't realise until recently how much I missed this community! Instagram made it easy to get attention and publish my work, but with the changing of the algorithms, the influx of AI-slop and the reel-craze that TikTok brought on the last couple years, social media has lost itself entirely to me. I have long struggled with my motivation and joy surrounding drawing, because it felt so needless and pointless. Since I'm mostly working on my novel, I haven't had the time much either, and so my reach on Instagram really plunged. It ate my creativity and my mind as well (with endless scrolling), and in January I finally decided to delete the app from my phone. It may have been the best decision I've done in years.
