Description

It wasn't his fault that he was bor in an unfortunate year, full of bad omens, diseases and lacking prey. The cub itself became a bad omen.

His weak siblings did not survive their first days of life. Only a small white cub managed to live day by day, moon by moon. It seemed that the fate itself smiled upon him. His mother, exhausted by sickness, hunger and despair, died shortly after giving birth, but with her last breath she gave her only precious cub a name. Kjar, meaning "blessed" or "lucky".

His father was shattered with grief and evaded any communication with the son. He even refused to tell him his own name, thinking that it was the cub's fault in killing his beloved huntress. The scrappy offspring was not worthy of his own name.

That's how he carried on, with a simple nickname eternally sticked to him. The White One.
