The 4th Academy Awards for Disney and FOX Movies
Disney & FOX movies became successful as they tried hard during the Great Depression crisis. But Disney short films are still popular, and Fox Film Corporation is still losing money, and this next ceremony will have two Fox Film movies, but a total loss for the first time. The 4th Academy Awards will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 1931, at the Sala D'Oro in the Biltmore Hotel, and it will be an annual event. This ceremony featuring a celebrity kid was nominated, and the first western film got the best picture. Again, there are no Disney films for this 4th Academy Awards. Hope for Fox Film will try again next year. If you want to see all awards, check out oscars.org; click here.
Here are the awards and nominees for the 4th Academy Awards, focusing on Disney & FOX movies.

U.S. Presidents and Disney Movies (Part 2)
What Was the Last Disney Animated Feature That Each U.S. President Would Live To See Released?
Some time ago, I made a literature post talking about the U.S. presidents and what Disney animated features were released during their time in office, and sometime after that, I talked about the Nine Old Men explaining what they died from, what was the last Disney Animated Feature they worked on, and what the last film in the canon they lived to see would be. Well, now, I'm going back to presidents, and this time, I am going to talk about what the last film in the Disney Animated Canon was that they would live to see. So let's go ahead and travel through history and see how this all went.
As always, we start with the first U.S. President, George Washington, who was also the first one to die. However, he died in 1799, long before Disney was even a thing. In fact, motion picture didn't become a thing until 1895. That being said, the following presidents died before motion picture became
I think I am the most proud of this story. I get frustrated by the fact that I can never come up with original ideas for stories--pretty much every BE plotline, from magic to chemistry to freak accidents, has been done. So one day I decided to chuck it all and go with an existing fairy tale plot, therefore requiring little or no effort on my part. (Well, except that I made it very difficult on myself and went back to the original text of the fairy tale from 1729 and rewrote it line by line, a more or less direct parody of the style, throwing in bad puns and double entendres whenever possible.) After being very amused by the title, I promptly sat on my ass for about a year while the story waited in various states of disrepair. It was finally completed and released January 1, 1998.
