10 Years of Spiritgreen

10 Years of Spiritgreen

Live now on Woot, a super fun collection of my art from the last ten years. Plus NEW shirts and all kinds of special items like Haunted Housework on a metal poster (). Spiritgreen's 10th Wootiverary SALE They've done such a really great job with this sale and it's so appreciated. Please check it out and thanks to everyone following my designer journey here on Deviantart! Your feedback and encouragement has given me so much creative energy. You can't create in a vacuum, you need some love and constructive criticism and I've been lucky enough to find it here so many times. It has been a weird and colorful decade and I've had hundreds of designs selected by Woot's art editors and the voters in the weekly art contest. More soon!

I'm happy I found your gallery of work.  You are not just one of the most amazing artists able to bring your ideas to life with your knowledge, experience, and skills but most importantly one of the most amazing designers I've seen.

Your ideas and composition are spectacular.  I don't know what my future might hold but if one day I felt like I wanted to open some sort of design studio or found myself working for some studio or agency you would definitely be a person I would hope would be apart of it.

What artists influenced you in your life?
Hey there Slime-Series. I'm sorry I only just caught your post! Thanks so much for your very kind words.

I draw in all kinds of different ways I guess because I've been influenced by so many people from comic book artists like Mike Allred, Jeff Smith and Larry Marder, comic strip artists like Bill Watterson, cartoonists from Chuck Jones to John Kricfalusi and Bill Plympton, pop artists like Scott Campbell, and when I first got into t-shirt design I was influenced a lot by fellow desginers like Walmazan (Wenceslao Almazan), BootsBoots (Jamie Marshall), bassanimation (Shawnna Bass), lucky1988 (Keith Kuniyuki) and rglee129 (Robbie Lee) over at Shirt Woot.

I love so many styles from retro to realistic but mainly just try to draw stuff that has plenty of energy and color.
