Spring is beauiful for IR shots. All the greens are such a light and full of life color that looks really fresh. This photo is a place quite close to my house. About a mile down a road and you come to the opening of this big field where is the perfect place to go sledding when its snowing in the winter. Now its all green with grass and the trees are a really nice light hue of green. This is my first try into the IR business and im quite happy with the result. I did some small stuff before but was always dissapointed with the result. Thank you to *joaopinheiro for showing me how to correcly process RAW fotos for color conversion.

I got interested in ir filter shots couple of weeks ago and I really like the feel and a sense of emotion that it creates for an image. with your image...i like the vertical frame work, with horizontal composition which divides the frame into 3 parts...the ground, the tree as it transcendent to the sky...what i like most about this is the negative space of the sky. the shadows creates by the trees and surrounding gives the image a more interesting emotion and time of day....however though...i feel that the tree is too centered...yet it's doesn't seem like it because of the business at the right contrast w/ the emptiness at the left...i think the perspective in this is a bit short...it costraints my eyes and view a bit...if you were to slightly change the angle a bit to the right capture that perpective deep down the road and capture those elongated shadows...i think it would be a more dramatic piece rather just a shot of a tree...
