Tremendous Utah Trip Was Tremendous
...and I took pictures. About 700 of them. I will be submitting perhaps around the 50 best. 9 Days 5 States (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona...Utah was focus) 3 People (Me, my husband, and dad) 1 R.V. This is going to take me a few days. Brace yourselves. Here we go!
A huge favor to ask of all my friends....
There is this badass old style drive-in theater called the Blue Fox that me and my husband frequent in Washington here, and they are begging for donations to buy a digital projector ($75,000-$150,000) because ALL movies will be sent to theaters in DIGITAL FORMAT ONLY starting in 2013. This is one of the last red-blooded drive in theaters in Washington State, (it opened in 1959), and it is run by a family that lives in a small house behind the snackbar building. This is a piece of American history, and these little theaters are dropping slowly over the years until soon there may be hardly any left. If you at all can, can ya spare them a lit...
