Merry Christmas and Hapy Holidays! I know I haven't been very active here this year, but without revealing too much, this year was a pretty big one for me.

Anyway, plans for 2026:

POKEMON Y COMIC:

I do have the last few pages to chapter 2 to upload, and then I start work on chapter 3. In my notes, I have enough for 7 chapters, and next year, I plan to pick back up the copy of Pokémon Y I've been using and finish the game.

AFTER THAT:

If and when I do finish the Pokémon comic, I've got a few future plans as well. First, I've got this copy of Pokémon Moon I've been thinking I could reset and replay for a sequel comic if everyone likes the XY one.

Also, I'm thinking of making more comics with my Ocs, as that would give me something to post here as I haven't been aside from the comic.

Thank you so so much, to everyone that has followed this account in the past year, I appreciate it. In the meantime, enjoy this meme I made for holiday season as it draws to a close.

Happy Halloween everyone!

I have been working tirelessly on this project for roughly a month, and now it's finally here! This is a comic where most of the events are synced up to the song "Lifetime Achievement Award"

Featuring some updated OC lore, the plot centers around Schaff, who finds himself in a sort of pocket diminseon where he recollects memories of his former best frien, who quit his job as a doctor to sell snake oil. I will probably post a more detailed explanation in the comments if anyone asks, but this mostly what I imagined when listening to the aforementioned song.

Content warning for very mild blood in certain panels, but I assure you, it's very brief.

Lastly, if anyone likes this, I would be happy to do another one for next year. Anyone questions and comments are appreciated!

UPDATE: I added a small summary at the beginning of the first page, but it wound up on every page. 😅 I can't delete it without removing it from the first page, so just ignore it when you read the doc. Thank you!

Hi everyone. I have some bad news. I think my laptop crashed and I have no clue why. I'm sure it's nothing to big to worry about, as I have managed to get DA to work on mobile, but I figured I'd share that this may impact the links to each comic page going foward.

I recently did some digging into what the "Scamilton" incident was and ignoring all the obvious issues (which you can read about here.) [musical theater] Scamilton — Or, How a Church in Texas Illegally Turned “Hamilton” Into Religious Propaganda : r/HobbyDrama

This whole thing frustrates me so much.

As a Christian with a decent understanding of how Hamilton works on a narrative level, this play is so frustrating because they made so many choices that they really didn't need to make (Or could have done differently) in order to make Hamilton into an explicitly Christain show. I'm not saying it would be easy, nor am I saying they wouldn't have gotten sued, or even wouldn't have deserved to, given they still lied about the show they were doing (Again, the HobbyDrama post) But I'm sure you could have changed some of the offending lyrics of some of the songs if you had to.

Like, I understand not wanting to swear, but all you really have to do to change the swear into a fitting word that doesn't affect the melody of the song. (Also, was "Turn around, bend over, I'll show you where my shoe fits" really that bad of a line?)

To say nothing of the fact that they straight up cut numerous songs which would obviously be a nightmare for the pacing. Once again, it wouldn't be easy to make all of these songs fit in an explicitly Christian narrative, but it is funny how "Ten Duel Commandments" a song that has "Ten" and "Commandments" in it and is pretty much just explaining a list of rules was somehow something they couldn't Christan-ify, but "Say No To This" which is just a pretty explicitly portrayed extramarital affair was perfectly acceptable to keep in, if extremely condensed down.

This whole thing honestly just reminds me of Jenny Nicholson's "The Church Play Cinematic Universe" The Church Play Cinematic Universe : Jenny Nicholson : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

And how like, as silly and goofy and absurd those plays were at times, I at least got the feeling that some of these people understood what they were adapting well enough that some choices at least feel understandable. (E.G Batman getting crucified on the Bat Signal, Emperor Zurg being a stand in for the devil that masquerades as Losto Bear at first in order to deceive the other toys into not caring about "Andy" who's meant to be a stand in for God, etc.)

"Scamilton" on the other hand lacks that, which not only makes it intensely frustrating for me to witness the choices they made, but it also makes it glaringly obvious that these people only did this to capitalize on something popular for the purpose of smacking the pulpit rather than out of a genuine desire to make something.

I haven't seen the whole thing, just TikTok clips posted to Pinterest, which you can see here if you're curious:

Also, feel free to use the comments as a place to help script doctor this concept. I want to hear your suggestions.
