Yuki Onna

Translation for "Snow Woman". She or they are either Ice witches or spirits. They obviously wander around frigid peaks and breathe ice and snow into their victims freezing them to death from the inside. Their hair is black, veautiful violet eyes, blue lips, skin as white as snow. They have a beautiful yet haunting ghostly appearance. They often appear in snow storms and can vanish into a icy mist. Although one tale told of a yuki Onna who spared a victim as long as he swore not to tell anyone else because she thought he was cute. He soon married a woman and had the urge to tell her of his encounter because her beauty was so similar only to find out that the woman he encountered happened to be his wife. She was angry at him but couldn't bring herself to kill him because in a way he did keep his promise. He didn't tell "anyone else".
