Translation for "Snow Woman". She or they are either Ice witches or spirits. They obviously wander around frigid peaks and breathe ice and snow into their victims freezing them to death from the inside. Their hair is black, veautiful violet eyes, blue lips, skin as white as snow. They have a beautiful yet haunting ghostly appearance. They often appear in snow storms and can vanish into a icy mist. Although one tale told of a yuki Onna who spared a victim as long as he swore not to tell anyone else because she thought he was cute. A young man and his father were out hunting with no such luck. They were trapped in a forest byba snowstorm. So they took shelter and slept in a cabin. Later that night the son awoke from an intense chill to find a pale woman in a white kimono blowing some white mist into his father's mouth freezing him to death from the inside. The son was unable to move. She slowly crept up to him inches from his face. She told him he was young and handsome. So she'll spare him as long as he never speaks of this to anyone. And he never did. He soon married a woman and had the urge to tell her of his encounter because her beauty was so similar only to find out that the woman he encountered happened to be his wife. She was angry at him but couldn't bring herself to kill him because in a way he did keep his promise. He didn't tell "anyone else". So she disappeared from her husband and kids forever.
