Description
The main villain I have in mind so far is the masked demonic oni king Shūten Dōji. When he was a young irresponsible priest he put on an oni mask to scare the other priest but to his horror his masked fused into his face forever. He transformed into an abnormal oni and was exiled from Kyoto. He formed a banditry of criminals who like him were reborn as oni which soon became a demon army. He has a fierce desire to capture the capitol of Kyoto and rule as its emperor.

My version focuses on the drunken lord part and he’s a general instead of king, but to be fair he is serving the demon god which...
actually that kind of would make him a king.
anyway I like your version and you did well on it
but my only suggestion would be to make his face a little more demonic just to enforce the Oni aspect a little more.
