A seductive giant spider yokai who takes the form of a woman and lures gullible young men into her cottage. But instead of a night of passion, when she reveals her true form, the man will find himself tangled up in a spider web where he waits for the jorōgumo to drink his blood and devour him the same way spiders devour their prey. They also make people cary what seems like a baby in a bundle but turns out to be an egg sack that will cover her unfortanute victim with baby spiders eating their first meal
