Large Caliber Japanese Matchlock by Imperator-Zor Large Caliber Japanese Matchlock by Imperator-Zor
The bigger cousin to the matchlock pistol shown for scale and another product of the Sengoku period. This stout barreled monster has a heavy steel barrel and can fire a 187.5 gram projectile or a mass of grapeshot. Such weapons would weigh more than 20 kilograms, had to be fired on the ground or on a rest and needed several men to carry them. These weapons were used mainly against enemy buildings and small ships. That said, one of their balls could definitely hurt some a formation of armored soldiers.
