A creature which evolved on the same world as the Hexacrawler, but of a distinct lineage. Conecrabs are radially symmetrical beings with six legs and three eyestalks/antennae and a six part beak. They breathe through a single air intake on the top of their conical body. Unlike the hermaphroditic Hexacrawlers Conecrabs are dimorphic with males and females, though some species do change sex over their lifespan. Another difference it has is that instead of having a single brain in their head the nervous system of Conecrabs is more distributed with dozens of knots of neurons throughout it's body.
Wonder what it tastes like?
I don't think that the breathing intake should be on the top. What if it rains, or if falling dust falls in?
great speculative evolution.
Where does it expel its waste?
Great speculative evolution!
