I'm the editor for a small independent comic publisher, Caffeine Angel Studios. I letter and edit the comics for print. I also handle the business side of the studio.

My background is in art history, so I'm very analytical when it comes to art. I can't draw (okay, technically I can draw and even went so far as to make a few of my own comics way back when, but it's been years since I did anything of the sort and I wasn't very good at it to begin with), but I can critique like you wouldn't believe. If I feel a piece is good, I'll say so, but I'm equally forthcoming about a piece's flaws. It's nothing personal, and at least people can count on me to be specific about what I feel is lacking. It makes me an ambitious editor, and an infrequent creator... I'm usually either too busy or too self-critical to finish my projects.
