Napping, warm shower, playing a videogame you enjoy.

I hope you feel better

I've been playing Flight Rising. Idk its monotonous and kind of kills my brain.

Other than that I've been glued to the news for the last few days. Shit has been going down, and watching the news is generally pretty distracting.

News is because recently I don't know if you've been following #feesmustfall but its been a huge movement here. One I felt that I should have been more involved in, and that many of my friends have been. I've been glued to the tv watching them getting stun grenaded, rubber bullets shot at, and tear gassed. Its hard not to when you're emotionally involved, and you're so worried about your friends.

The rest of the time I seldom watch it :P

If possible lie down somewhere, close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Also if you can, listen to music or the radio and focus on what they're talking about/the music.
I suffer from the odd panic attack myself and this how I usually calm down.

  • immediately leave the situation, or try to leave
  • seek emergency help or repeatedly need others to calm you down
  • focus too much on physical symptoms
  • do things which help you feel more in control, such as avoiding speaking to people
Just found these things on a website that seem really good to try :)
