The Dwellers

Yeah... don't ask why I called this by that title. Some vague idea floating around my brain somewhere amidst many others

Ya I know it's nothing spectacular, just a character portrait and me practicing again with some sort of background >_> I wanted to draw him indoors, since I'd already tried my hand at a forest scene, but he didn't want to be drawn indoors. He wanted to be in the forest. I hate it when my art has a mind of its own - all my well-meaning ideas are flushed down the toilet and I end up with something entirely different that what I meant to draw x_x

oh and I used brushes from to help with the tree texture and the border, and created my own grassy brushes to paint the grass.. which I will upload here in case anybody is interested.
