Not sure if you know or not but I've been going through a big artistic slump over the last year or year and a half. It was the first year that I didn't enter anything to Spectrum... because I didn't have anything that I liked. A huge part was due to my back and arm problems making me not be able to draw past an hour or so a day, but now those problems are starting to go away and I have this whole new appreciation for being able to do art for a living again. Like the seasons, we all go through our cold spells but no matter how cold our "artistic winter" might get, spring will always come eventually... just gotta keep working at it.
I hate being one of these people, but the result of my master thesis literally depends on it, (sorry for the spam)…please read my post and share your opinions with me.
If for some reason you don’t want it to be public please send me a message.
My paper deals with deviantART as a “democratic” platform, as a promoter of culture. To what extent it is democratic is the question? For more details read the journal. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Any feedback helps!
Ps: I love the creature
Swimming is one of the best ways to strengthen your back without putting undue stress on the joints. Rock climbing is amazing for strengthening, once you've recovered well.
