Description

(UPDATE 6/5/2017)

***CAUTION: I (may) have a lot to say about the character in the drawing. I don't usually say too much in a description box so just try to handle how long this description is going to be.***

Beatrice Birchwood is one of oldest OCs I've created. For those of you who don't know who she is, just keep reading.

DESCRIPTION: As y'all have noticed the title of the post, Beatrice Birchwood is my "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" OC. She is the main protagonist of my fan fiction series, "The Birchwood Twin(s)" while her brother, Tommy, serves as the deuteragonist. In the first story of "The Birchwood Twin(s)" (which is "Toon Town Investigators"), Beatrice was introduced as a character with selective mutism because of a couple of traumatizing events that occurred in her life. But during the progression of the story, she slowly starts to talk more and even got enough confidence to speak up. Despite of the accomplishment, Beatrice still has a lot to accomplish and overcome, such as learning how to trust people and facing the future head on (But of course, that wouldn't be revealed until sometime later in "The Birchwood Twin(s) " series.).

PERSONALITY: Personality-wise, Beatrice is a kind girl with on-and-off confidence. She is also sensitive, empathetic, and intelligent. Even though that she has on-and-off confidence, Beatrice does have her moments of standing up for herself or somebody. But most of the time, she thinks before she acts. If Beatrice had to make an exception for thinking before acting, it would usually because if her strong emotions are triggered, she wouldn't hesitate to do anything. Intelligent? Well, Beatrice has the ability to absorb whatever she reads and even has a good memory. In fact, her memory is so good that she can remember things almost instantly.

HER ROLE/GOAL(S): As stated in one of the early paragraphs, Beatrice is the main protagonist of "The Birchwood Twin(s)" series. Apart from that, her role is being the hero, which is given to her after she discovers her destiny in "The Birchwood Twin(s) in The Wizard of Oz". Besides learning how to trust people and overcoming her fears, Beatrice's main goals include helping the Toon Patrol reform, defeating Judge Doom, and protecting her heart (An explanation is given in "The Birchwood Twin(s) in The Wizard of Oz".). And since Beatrice is known for her intelligence, she is considered as "the brain", which does kind of make her a leader.

INTERESTING FACTS:
-Beatrice has dated quite a few times in her life. Unfortunately, every single boy that she dated did not treat her very well, which would become a reason why she has a hard time trusting people. Despite of that, she is the love interest of Greasy (the second-in-command of the Toon Patrol), even though she treats him like he's a friend.

-In "The Birchwood Twin(s): Peaches and Powers", it is revealed that Beatrice has telekinesis. So far, she knows the basic level of her power, which involves lifting, crushing, constructing, disassembling, pushing, and pulling. Like Elsa and her snow powers, it's very possible that Beatrice's telekinesis is somehow connected to her emotions. Whenever she is calm, her power is under control. But whenever she's in a stressful situation, it tends to act up, such as causing light bulbs to explode.

-I created Beatrice when I was going through a difficult phase in high school. I realized that she is actually a personification of how I see myself transitioning from being a shy girl to a girl with confidence. (I hope that Beatrice inspired y'all in some way(s).) She is also the main reason why I decided to become an author after I graduate from college.

-The dog tag around Beatrice's neck is a gift from Yen Sid. The scribbled image on the tag is supposed to be a brain with Yen Sid's magic hat on top. That is supposed to symbolize her role of being a leader.

All right. I'm done. I think I've fainted.

Awesome

and I guess my own way of drawing can be different at times.

I mean look at this drawing I did of The Rhythm Patrol, it says 'The First six members' on it because Beatrice and Cressida will be a part of the Rhythm Patrol later on.
