Wow. Almost a year since my last journal entry. I sure haven't been very productive. But I did finally finish the long-due art I referenced in that last entry. (Whoops.) I'm actually thinking of moving to a new account, since I've basically retired my "Illucian" username from use everywhere. But it'll be a hassle, also I've had this account for six years. Still, it might be nice to have a fresh start. We'll see.

I haven't really done much of anything with art lately. Which is bad, because I owe someone art and have owed it for a while. But I did manage to produce something I like, so we'll see if I manage to get that sketch trade done with something I'm not horrificly ashamed of.

So, life. I spent a week in Hawai'i with my husband. Mostly on Maui (which was wonderful) but also an unintended stay in Honolulu thanks to a cancelled flight (thanks for the five star hotel accomodations, United). Worse places to be stranded than Honolulu, lemme tell ya. I'm taking part in the Dragon Book project on LJ. Looks pretty awesome. I have seen the movie Iron Man five times now. Make of that what you will. However, I will add that I did see Transformers seven times in theatres. Maybe I have a thing for summer blockbusters involving fighting between metal-clad warriors.
