Paris

Paris was a beauty! I made my way here from Brussels by three different trains; the first stopping at Tournai, the next at Lille, and from Lille, I would board the high-speed TGV to Paris. I must say the TGV was insanely fast. It was like a plane, travelling across the ground. Journey time from Lille to Paris was only one hour. My first hostel was at Lamarck Caulaincourt, a beautiful part of the city, with stairs aligned with gardens. I visited the Sacre-Coeur Basilica while here, when it was close to sundown. Amsterdam

0 min read
I only gave Amsterdam one day. I spent two in The Hague with my two friends, Mika and Mitch. So I didn't end up seeing all that much of Amsterdam. I walked around with a friend named Mylene, and just took in some of the sights. It was a fancy city, but not among my favourites. My next stop was Brussels. Unfortunately, I missed the train by literally a minute, and that meant I had to wait a whole another hour for the next.
