The Haesta in life by ijreid The Haesta in life by ijreid
Part two of my Haestasaurus series, this is a life restoration. The good thing with making your own skeletals by hand on paper is that if you flip the paper, you have the outline right on the other side. Anyways, I added some detail to the skin of the head, limbs and distal tail, including larger scales on the underside, and based on the skin impression of Haestasaurus, rounded and smaller scales on the rear of the elbows and knees. I guess that the scales there would form some protection, and they are in the places that predators would most likely attack (underside, limbs, neck).
