I've been using this skin on and off for over a year now and have never favourited it! Shameful.

I love this skin because although it looks lovely, minimal and clean it doesn't sacrifice functionality like so many other winamp modern skins I've tried.

Great job

most skins i come across are either incredibly bland and boring, or are so fancy you can't even make out WHERE the buttons are let alone what they do! but this one is great! its really eye-catching and nice to see its complete aswell :nod: , i was looking through pages and pages of shite and yours jumped out at me! nice skin!!!

Hi ijaxx,

I'll be honest:
This is the greatest WinAmp skin I've ever seen, so using it since you've posted it for the first time.

Absolutely fabulous work, man !!!

Problem that ~scottk told us how to fix, but I'm too lazy hehe. Nice skin though, it's nice. :D ^_^

To Fix this:

1) Close Winamp (and if it's running, kill winampa.exe)
2) Go to <$programfiles$>\Winamp\Plugins\freeform\xml\wasabi\window
3) Rename ERROR.PNG to [link]
4) Copy TRANSPARENT.PNG as ERROR.PNG in the same directory

Q. What is causing this?

ijaxx apparently had planned for a rotary-style volume knob or previously had it in an earlier version, but did not remove the code referencing it in <$programfiles$>\Winamp\Skins\AeroTune\xml\player.xml:

<button id="VolumeBlank" image="player.VolumeKnob.blank" x="0" y="0" move="0" ghost="0"/>
<layer id="VolumeKnob" image="player.VolumeKnob" x="0" y="0" move="0" ghost="0"/>
<script id="volumeknob" file="scripts/mouseovervolume.maki"/>
<script id="ARVB" file="scripts/autorepeatvolumebuttons.maki"/>

Since there is not a previous definition in the player.xml file, Winamp throws-in the ERROR.PNG (which is a default behavior for Winamp). This fix just replaces the big-ugly-green-box-with-an-X-in-it (which is the REAL ERROR.PNG file) with a transparent png file.

It's a huge kluge of a fix, and this is not the only skin that has this problem.

ikaxx - if you're out there...nice skin, but you need to polish it off.

Don't use this skin with WinAMP 5.24. It will turn out like this [link]

Not sure how to fix it

I'm using this now, because it's the best winamp modern skin - go you :D

Excellent work man. Excellent work. It would be awesome if you could add alpha blending to the entire theme though (playlist editor, media library, video..etc.) Anywho, a perfect 10 to me!

Thanks man, great skin :clap:

Very nice ijaxx. You mentioned on the Original AeroTune page that you were adding round buttons to the song control buttons. Did you abandon that or are you still working on it?
Either way, I really like the skin.

i cant get it to snap properly... tried it with out the shadows and works show how... but have to change the main players size to get it set set properly with out shadow.....

also thanks for the pointer on the thumbs.db files never crossed my mind will have to edit them out of all my winamp skins...thanx for the pointer....

This skin is very sleek. Love it. Though there seems to be some issues with snapping etc. Would it be possible to have the playlist snap to the main window somehow? Also, I made the comment in the old version, but meant to put it here. The thumbs.db files are taking up 400kb in the archive and are unnecessary.

There is a "Toaster" skin themed to this skin available in the winamp forums too.
Great skin, good work.

Awesome skin, but I'm having problems with the Milk Drop > Desktop mode in combination with the Aero Tune Skin, the framerate drops to 1 or 2 frames per Second looks like a slide show! Tried changing but didn't work! :(

Very cool skin. Fits very well with everything else Aero. :+fav: One suggestion, though, is there any way you could add the option to show/hide all of the buttons on the player at once?

Awesome skin! Does the mouse always go underneath it? I'm having that issue here....

The only problem I have is that there is no feedback when I'm changing the volume with the wheel. If you'll also add a play\stop buttom on the video window, this will be the last skin I'll ever install.
good job.
