Amazing shot! I am interested in investing in a Tokina lens and this definitely makes me think it is worth it!

I honestly thought that this was a painting. Wonderful composition. The perspective makes me feel like I'm looking up to ancient Greek gods.

Truly gorgeous! Aside from the funny James Bond story, this does look like a painting, or a very old photograph, hard to believe it's modern, reminds me of old art photographs from the early 20th c...the grain & texture is beautiful! The angle is also excellent, they seem bathed in celestial light, as if Eve has just been born!...well worth your trouble.:-)

Thanks a lot.

Классная фотка и галлерея вообще. Тоже зарегился по твоему совету. Как здоровье после Кириной дачи?

Wonderful. I know how it's hard to take a prohibited picture.

Yep. It can be hard but it's worth trying.

I'm gonna go with that Green814 and say that I also thought that this was a painting. Truly this is a great shot. I like how the figures seem to tower over everything else.

Very nice perspective and a wonderful glare.
Wow, amazing angle. Love this.

This hardly looks like a photograph- the tone, the focus. It seems more like a painting. Very nice.

WOW!!! This is amazing, i'll be very honest with you and say this is probably the best b&w work i have seen in a loooong while! =D I love the composition here, the details in the highlights, and even the lens flare! Is the Tokina a MF lens? Anyway.. instant :+fav: great subject matter and the fact that you had to be incognito about catching the shot is great. i really think that the low angle (i am assuming since you were hidding it) adds so much more to the perspective, this is really some top notch work!! Really breathtakting =D keep it up!

Thank you! =)

Tokina is a cool AF lens... it's full-metal and well it's the greatest lens you can get for that money. it's kinda tricky to use because of 2.8 but when you get used, it's really wonderful. Very sharp.

No, i wasnt hiding it.... the story was a bit different:
It was on Zurab Tsiretelli's exhibition

i was gonna take a picure, but as soon as i took out my cam, a security came and told me not to photo... and well they began waching me.

So i got out, hided in some corner, and waited for the exhibition to finish and then got out of my shelter and did my dirty job! Hell that was freakin scary! but i loved that! Fhoto extreme! try something like that some day! (and expect more prohibited-style exclusive photos from me =) )

So later when i tried to get out of there i had some problems, but i didn't care bbecause my mission was complete.... but that's another story. =)

haha wow what a great commentary hehe ;) .. how much did that Tokina 2.8 cost ya? I bet it was a pretty penny!
II-calm-II Featured By Owner Apr 12, 2005   Photographer
hehe the new one costs like 500$ (not that much for such a lens)

i changed it for my older lens and added 150$ i'm really happy with that lens.

Somebody says that TOKINA has slow AF motors, but i'm using minolta and the AF motor is in camera body... and it's fast, so i don't care. anyways: if you ever see that lens in sale - take it without thinking. (check it before, surely)
