this is an occlusion render of my qualification project for 3d- animation at my school (it was my first year)

the idea for this project came from combining the words mechanic and chameleon to mechameleon, i thought it was quite funny and intresting so i picked this wordplay as a topic....

I forgot to ask you after watching the camera motion animation. Have you rigged this yet? Since you have done everything else, cause i looks like a mission to rig, but its not impossible.

I wanted to model a sort of real looking chameleon, first and then turn it into a robot, but i only got as far as testing the rendring for the incomplete chameleon. i saw this work of your and it is awesome to say the lest. awesome!

Here where i left Chamie my chameleon, also used Maya, 2012. I started rigging him also but his still in a flying T pose haha

yep that was hard surface modeling with polygons (no nurbs...i hate them^^)

Nurbs are a pain, but i messed with them the other day and learnt that they aren't all that bad.

Ich würde es ja als Hintergrund benutzen, aber es ist halt eher langweilig mit dem Weiss.... Du könntests ja vor einen Hintergrund setzen... Vielleicht Mechameleon im Sprung oder Mechameleon im Kampf...

P.S.:Versteh mich nicht falsch, sieht sehr gut aus!
