Acta Dei - Climate of (Deglaciated) Antarctica

Description

Hello everyone.

So here's a (relatively) quick map I made . . .

One of the things I kind of like are geographically ASB (utterly implausible) scenarios where things like a deglaciated Antarctica, a much smaller Sahara desert, more numerous and larger islands, and whatnot lead to a world very much different than our own. So here's the first part of the series, a climate map of an Antarctica without much of the ice caps enveloping the whole continent. The way I have this planned, is that these changes won't affect much until the Roman era.

Hopefully, the next one is going to be about the human migration into Antarctica (largely from South America).

This map (along with other maps of the Geographic ASB Map Series) is dedicated to mickeyelric11 and his Toy Girls series. Seriously, if you haven't checked out his super-awesome series, I highly suggest you go and check it out.

Credits
-Credit goes to Devon Moore's Great White South TL (of which I used that TL's Antarctica as a base map). You should go check it out, so I posted the link.

NOTE: The map series has been given a permanent name: Causae Deus (a rough Latin translation for "acts of God," which it kind of is).

NOTE#2: This series is again renamed to Acta DeI after someone provided a better Latin translation

Looks very similar to the climate map of my hypothetical habitable Antarctica, except the subarctic-tundra and tundra-ice cap borders were a tad bit further north, the McMurdo area has subarctic and cold semi-arid microclimates, and the eastern Antarctic Peninsula and those outposts on the northern shore of eastern Antarctica are humid continental rather than oceanic.
