took this at a golf course. clear and beautiful sky out. the bucket of (presumably) sand is for people to spell out in a safe and clean way, apart from its prize money, how unexciting golf is.

Massive =D
I see you have been putting the K10 to service, Did you used any analog filter or was it all post production?
Quite surreal
Keep me posted on that baby, I'm going to buy mine next month, to see if I can compete with you =P

hahaha
i used a polarizer that day.
it wasn't so bad but the pic went through dogdging/burning and colour edit.

i remember you have the arsenal of lenses, so i'd run far and wide away from you lol.
anyways, glad to have you around as usual :)
welcome to 'we  k10d' club :D

Well your still safe; I still have to buy it first, hopefully things will run ok enought to ensure me into the club :P

I don't have that much of an arsenal, not more than you. A polariser lens and a 18-70 zoom lens. Plus if i buy the camera in a pack, the lens that comes with the k10.

Anyway what makes a good photography goes way beyond the technological plane. Its is mor a matter of sensibility and good taste. =D

lol good luck with the purchase aight
i think you don't have to get the kit lens then, since your 18-70mm zoom covers the range of the kit lens.
mayb u want to think about getting another lens instead?

lol yep yep, and you have those. plus you can't deny the importance of good ol techniques and technology!!

hella yeah!
fisheye is very pretty indeed.
based on my 'vast' experience of 2 months, i think that using tripod + raw brings a much much better photo. so raw u go!

thanks honey :) u take good care of yourself too

you can google for photoshop tutorials
and get Digital Camera Magazine Malaysia edition, it's cheap, and keeps u informed on the latest photoshop techniques. This month's quite informative. there're articles on dodging burning, etc.

you can always upload a pic of your enhanced photos, say in general terms what you've used (levels/curves/saturation etc) and i'll drop a comment. i think u'll be able to explore your own preference and we could learn from each other.

photoshop tricks: they're really //not// a big industry secret.
Learn from the photos you like, if they have strong contrast or saturated colours. u can adjust your pics accordingly through photoshop.
Levels could control silmultaneously the brightness and contrast of the photo
hue/saturation for controlling the colour of your photo and its vividness

as they say, experiment with it.
u'll get it in no time
