So here I am, sitting in the Edmonton airport, about to head to the Bahamas. Headed to shoot a lovely wedding for a friend of mine. I'm excited and nervous as hell all at the same time.
About 2 minutes ago, I discovered a photographer Elena Kalis is FROM Nassau, which is where I'm staying. I almost jumped out of my chair. I don't know how I forgot that!! Anyways, totally running on the 'omfg' rush right now lol. I sent her an email, hoping she will respond. I would do just about anything to be photographed by her. Going to try to remember to breathe just a little bit...
This month has had a lot of travelling in it. I had the most awful AND lovely trip to Houston, Texas, a couple weeks ago. I got to shoot the super awesome Hex Hypoxia and her friend who owns Twisted Figure Photography. Totally badass chicks, brought 120% to the table and rocked my world
I only wish I hadn't been feeling all crummy that day from some jerk off setting off the fire alarm in my hotel first thing in the morning.
Seriously. Who lights their fucking shoe on fire?? His response was 'I didn't think it would smoke THAT much!' *facepalm* Do us a favour, light yourself on fire next time... Please don't reproduce.
Anyways! On to other things.
Yeah the USS Texas is a pretty badass ship, I can't believe they made the thing in 1912... It looks really new and really old all at the same time. Blows my mind to think the entire thing is rivetted together. 0.o Couldn't imagine doing that much rivetting. Yikes.
Don't mind the randomness! I realised I haven't updated this journal in once again... forever. I suck at journaling. One of these days!! I will get better!!
In the mean time, I hope you are all well, and I hope to post some super smecksy beach photos for you all to oggle over
I have my super sexy photo assistant, Brit, coming with me. If all else fails, she's gunna get stripped down and thrown in the water!
Love you all xoxo
