Un nid de Maiasaura ("lézard bonne mère"). Ce dinosaure herbivore du Crétacé de 9 mètres de long pour un poids de 3 tonnes fait partie de l'ordre des Hadrosauridés (dinosaures à becs de canards). Découverts principalement dans le Montana (Etats-unis), les restes de Maiasauras étaient souvent accompagnés de nombreux nids. Ce qui prouve que certains dinosaures s'occupaient soigneusement de leurs petits.

A nest of Maiasaura ("caring mother lizard"). This plant-eater dinosaur of the Cretaceous measures 9 meters long for a 3 ton weight is a part of the order of Hadrosaurid (dinosaurs with beaks of ducks). Discovered mainly in the Montana (United States), the rests of Maiasauras were often accompanied with numerous nests. What proves that certain dinosaurs took care carefully of their youngs.
