Nocturn Island Nocturn Island, land created by monsters for monsters, settled on a floating island hidden amongst a mysterious and cryptic fog. Spoken on the lips of wisps and in the whispers of night, those who speak of Nocturn Island day it is a place where monsters may find a better life. To gain passage for yourself to the island’s shores, one must find one of the ferryman, or rather allow them to find you. The ferrymen, mysterious spirits of many faces and many ships, find them at the shore or stream-side, they beckon you with bony fingers to their vessel, said to change dependent on its passengers. Step aboard and allow them to take you to the island. On the turtle island you shall pass through the Guardian’s Gate. The Caretaker reminds you to hold onto the image of having a better life for yourself, whatever that life may be, from farmer to forager to widdler to swindler, any life to be better, free of the danger of human monster hunters.
