A probable solution to commission chargebacks.
Artists who create commissions know one caveat with accepting PayPal: their Seller Protection doesn't cover services, so they can and will be SOL if the buyer decides to dispute the transaction. While Buyer Protection doesn't cover services either, PayPal is notorious for ruling in the favor of the buyer, so the seller needs to look into other ways of protecting themselves. Which leads to our discussion here, of how we can leverage Seller Protection to ensure scamming buyers can't run off with the money after the service is completed -- by converting your commission service into a tangible product. Using HTML on deviantART
Hello! Hello and welcome to my little html tutorial. I've been working with html codes for a couple of years and I'm going to teach you what I know about using some basic html on deviantART. This won't make you a html expert or something and I'm not an expert myself but it will give just enough knowledge to make your journals, comments, news articles and other neat and lovely looking. :) deviantART actually has FAQs about html but I still wanted to do this because they look a bit unorganized, in my opinion. Also, why would you want to look for those FAQs when you can just open this news article where you have everything in one place? :dummy

Hey!

So this summer, I am planning on hosting the 2014 Emoticon Tournament!:la:

It will be run much like last year, with maybe a few variations in the rules where needed based on last year.

One of the major rule changes though this year, is that instead of there being initially one week to create your entry, there will be two weeks. Each round could last up to three weeks, if there is popular demand for a one week extension.

I will start choosing judges, and maybe an assistant or two pretty soon, but I will not really start going big on planning until I get back full swing mid June.;p There will be judging applications as there were last year, so look out for those.;)

So until then, I will start opening up donations for the event. So if you have some spare points, and want to help give this a head start, you can donate to my other account IceXDragon-Alt!:meow:

Thanks everyone!:huggle: I hope this year it will be very epic and fun!:dummy: Please consider passing this journal around that way more people will know about the event!:la:

Have a wonderful day!c:
