Journal of a Survivor (Part 34) Dark Mysteries
By the time I had woken up Toba had relocated me back inside. It was now raining and pitch black outside. I felt horrible for falling asleep like I did, but Toba admitted that he fell asleep too. Apparently we've been sleeping in the same room together for so long it's now difficult to sleep without each other. He laughed at how knocked out I was. The rain woke him up and he was able to move me easily without me even stirring. Axel had returned too, he was very successful in his hunt. He had caught 2 deer and several dogs. Leisa was preparing the deer for storage; both of them greeted me once they noticed I'd woken up. I was embarrassed, but Leisa said I shouldn't be. Thunder roared loudly outside as the rain poured heavily. "So, I see you two have made up" Leisa commented. "Yea I guess I'm a sucker for tall, dark, and deadly" I joked. Leisa shot me a 'that's not funny' look, but Toba thoroughly enjoyed that answer. I asked her about Axel, but she stated she needed a little more time.
