Finished! Might be a little overly bright; the darker areas are more of a flat black, but I'm calling it done at this point. An inexpensive, REALLY COOL, and shockingly well detailed replica, and I'm bloody proud of how it turned out. Yeah, there's a couple touchup spots that could be done with the silver bits, but I'm at the point of shaky hands and trading off 'too much black' and 'too much silver.' Time to call it at that point.
Filled it with 4500andafew steel BBs, that added about 3 1/4 pounds to it evenly spread. Lots of superglue inside to give it some strength and keeping the BBs from rattling; It's got a slightly longer barrel because I used an alternate endcap for it; the orange one that it came with separately. It reminds me of the Mk IV SMLE barrels, and I like how it looks poking out a bit more. Colors used were Krylon paint-and-primer flat black and a "flat iron" spray as well, I forget which. Both from Walmart. Aluminum testors paint for contrast on the small bits...and buenolicious.
Boomlicious? Anyway, it's done, I'm happy, it's awesome, yay I have a Cool Thing. Look upon my works, ye jelly, and go buy your own on ebay! (seriously, no shit. "blade runner water gun" go look.)
