Ish [OC 1 + Small Lore Dump]

This is my main OC (And my first real OC from back in 2019)

Name: Ish

Age: 12 (As of now, may change)

Gender: Male, He/Him

Species: Whatever the hell Kirby is

Ish is an explosion of personality! Lively and excitable, he's always looking for the most interesting thing to do, and generally boredom doesn't sit well with him. He's fairly friendly, very quick-witted, a little awkward, and extremely competitive. While his quick thinking generally comes in handy, he's also extremely impulsive, in detriment to him and those around him.

He fights using a sword which he doesn't normally remove from the sheathe. This makes hits from it more akin to a whack than a slash. This is intended to limit fatal injuries since he generally doesn't fight to kill, even in dangerous situations. This is also intended to make things more challenging for him so he can grow more powerful!

In terms of powers he's technically has the ESP copy ability, he simply uses it in a very unorthodox way. Rather than using them for the typical psychokinesis of the average ESP Kirby he uses this to support his sword-combat skills, teleporting, increasing his movement speed, and using it to charge his attacks with electric energy. When necessary he can also use it to move objects with his mind or create weapons and such out of energy, but he prefers not to both because it's not his preferred fighting style, and because he's not very skilled with it.

In terms of backstory I'll reveal more later.

Simply put he's just a normal kid looking for adventure! That is he thought he was a normal kid. Once a new foe(?) appears, he realizes the people around him haven't been completely transparent with him, and that everything he thought he knew, including what really happened to cause his parents' deaths, has not been as simple as he previously believed.
