You should really test these all versions by yourself, its possible they have some glitches.
For this program you must have installed:
- .NET Framework 4.0: www.microsoft.com/en-us/downlo… or www.microsoft.com/en-us/downlo…,
- MS Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable:
x32 - www.microsoft.com/en-us/downlo…
x64 - www.microsoft.com/en-us/downlo…
- DirectX www.microsoft.com/en-us/downlo…
For version 0219 you should use Windows 7 64bit OS;
To extract archive files (*.zip, *.rar, *.7z) with correct japanese file names:
install this: www.mediafire.com/?83bnb818wm3…;
install 7zip 32bit version
- or download this: www.mediafire.com/?k21bb4xus8x…;
Find 7zip folder, right click file 7zFM.exe, click Run with Japanese locale, use this window to browse and extract archives.

Few months ago I suddenly noticed that this post actually has a "DIY addendum" with all necessary files, instructions, and encouragements to compile your own translated version of the editor. Following these instructions, I managed to make a working version with some fixed texts:
I wanted it to become a complete improved translation... well, about the same time Inochi-PM released his own version, so the urgency of this work had diminished. So it is *not* a complete work. Its a WIP. I'm not saying I won't be working on this anymore, but I can't promise to spend time on it as much as I used to in the beginning. Still, in case somebody has reasons to prefer this version over Inochi's one, this is an improvement compared to the current practically-all-Google translation. And, of course, when (if?) a newer PMXE version will be released, this translation will also regain relevance.
This includes four .dll's to overwrite in PMXE's Lib\System folder (VMDView is also translated). There's also the current state of b2.txt/b3.txt files used for translation if anybody's interested.
Feel free to comment on the translation or offer ways to improve it. Keep in mind that I'm not an expert on PMXE, so I could get some things wrong. If you see some text that still reeks of poor Google translation, more likely than not I left it as it was because I wasn't sure what the command or option in question had to *do* (for example, I'm not experienced enough with weighting, and I have absolutely no idea what "anchors" are and what purpose they serve for). And I'd rather do no changes without clear understanding what am I doing. So, for any advice that'd make it better, I'll be grateful.
