For all of those who have lost ...
To
I promised something for ages ago. It was a mermaid but it came out that I am hopeless in those matters. I hope you will love it.
And also for the one of the most fantastic people here
And many thanks to *Lareth Her friendship, guidance and good words have kept me on track and the help she gave me with this work. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My idea was to reflect the sadness.. the knowing that there are things in life what you want to change but even with your best wishes, your great will, you cannot. There are things in life what are not eternal - life is one of them. But the pain, knowing that someone has lost, knowing that some things will never be, some moments are forever gone - that is eternal. A really dare friend once told me - "Treasure the moments you have! They will never come back!" You were so right back then. Now I know that more than ever but there is nothing I can change. Even if I want it at the bottom of my heart. No way to turn back time, to live those moments again and treasure them more than I did. I miss you... this is my eternal requiem, my eternal pain and hurt, missing you with all my heart...
I have been working with it a month, at least. Started long ago, left as I was not happy, then I was busy, in other day continued, stopped, continued again. So the hours spent on it. I do not dare to count them (over 20 at least) and the layers. It has even more of them than "A Sailorman's Hymn" what had at least 100. In some point it all just seems so big, too big for me but the special meaning on this, the feelings I had doing it.. feelings I have had to cope lately... it reflects it, maybe even more than any other work. This is done with the soul and heart as all my works and they matter me. Some have wondered, why my signature has that line: "Treat softly as you treat on my dreams" This art is my dream.. this world, in the light on little magic, in fantasy, away from this world what is to painful to live and accept - this is my dreams. So, treat softly as you treat on my dreams...
