hey mate, love the theme, only problem is that I cant seem to get the msgina.dll file to work.
I mean I followed your instructions to the letter, and its still the same. I tried rebooting and it didnt work. Every other part of the theme works without a hitch, its just really quite annoying seeing everything in a white/grey colourset, then for the blue obscurity to popup.
I have experience in installing themes before [I'm running Luna Element Black atm ;)]

wouldn b able to point me in the right direction?

Hi,

It is a great Visual Style "love at first sight", but there is an issue, I am a developer and frequently use applications like Microsoft SQLServer Management Studio, Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 6, in these application certain windows do not use the VS font, instead displays some other font that look alike the "System" font.

Hey glad to hear you like it , the solution is if you have style builder installed you can select your own fonts for any part of the gui , unfortunately I no longer have access to it as I am now on a Mac .
Good luck

I've got a problem!

When I rename the msgina.dll it recreates itself...
when i paste the new msgina over it, it saves itself back over the new one..
i followed the instructions... :/
What is this about logonui and whats the deal with the little arrow pics in the .zip... do they actually get used or what heh..

Sorry for questions, im just new and interested in how it works.
I would appreciate an email about what i may be doing wrong.

what scares me is... precapice tells me to write down the stuff from the document... but when i end process on explorer... the document stays. :P

I think my computer is just NUTZO like me.

Lol no your pc is just doing what windows tells it to ie protecting the file....
I am sorry I dont have the time to help you but there is an easy way to do it somewhere in my comments I left a link for someone to a little application that makes it easy to do it is called replacer or something like that .
If you have the patiance follow the link and download it then follow the prompts , its a lott less complicated that way, good luck

I mean use the themes on my windows. I'm currently using Window Blinds XP, but I guess that your theme won't work on it.

For me, this theme would be perfect if the start menu were wider.

I'd do it myself if I knew how (with your permission of course)

An excellent job my dear friend; one of the best I tried and it is my actual choice of style, thank you very much for your contribution... but I canīt intal the logon an the msgina... the system overwrites every time I try to paste the files, even though I take carefully eve step on the readme... I tried also to unable the file protection system... but nothing.
I think it is uncomplete without those files... so can you help me?

Windows keeps bakup copies in two places you will have to replace those as well (use the same steps) as the readme.

Check in these two places :

1- Go to Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 folder
2- Go to Windows\system32\dllcache folder

Let me know if that worked for you please
Good luck
