• They have calm, serious and professional personalities (Espio is the quiet, disclipined voice of the Chaotix Detective Agency. Ayaka is the elegant "Shirasagi Himegimi", which means "White Heron Princess".)

• Each of them hold a significant position within their world (Espio is both a ninja warrior and a private detective, while Ayaka manages the internal and external affairs of the prestigious Kamisato Clan and the Yashiro Commission)

• They have also camouflaging abilities (Espio is a chameleon, which can camouflage. Ayaka can cloak herself in frozen fog, infuse her blade with ice and create snowstorms.)

• Both also possess a fierce, underlying sense of justice (Espio holds an absolute refusal to let evil have it's way. Ayaka is kind-hearted and willing to help common people, even against the opinions of other nobles)
