My homage for George Orwell and the greatest book I have ever read “1984”. If anyone has read this fantastic book this is how I visualize the Ministry of Truth or possibly Love. If you live in Toronto, you might recognize this is actually a picture of the old maple leaf gardens I took with some gloom added in Photoshop.

Lovely persective shot. Is Maple Leaf gardens still standing?

BTW, I thought you'd be interested to know that I read somewhere that when Orwell created the Ministry of Truth, he had Senate House in London in mind.

Yeah..."we shall meet in a place where there is no darkness"...Great tones and perspective! The best book!

Thanks for the comments, I was surprised how this one turned out as I had just started messing with a digital camera I borrowed from a friend. :)

Excellent. I've visited Maple Leaf Gardens once, a couple of years ago, but this pictures is so evocative of something... perhaps yearning, with those giant belt-like bands.
