A lot of people have always wanted the desktop icon mousover square on their XP systems. Well, here it is folks! Not 100% perfect but still pretty good...

- IconX by Stardock [link]

Edit: draven686's account has been de-activated but the credit remains.

Please note that after several hours of trial and error that I was able to get the square to show up properly with 48 pixel icons. The original skin by draven686 only supports 38 pixel icons. However, without Draven's base skin, I might not have succeeded in doing this.

I can honestly say that this works very, very well!

P.S.: Once you try this, you will never want to go back to your old desktop icons! The icon previews, mouseover and pressed states are simply awesome and everything works without a glitch - a lot better than Windows FX! Believe me!
