Snails Pace

Moving at a snails pace, all the time in the world to take in natures beauty as it surrounds you. This tiny creature was mid way up this white bell flower when I came across him, maybe to get higher and look out for better food, or maybe just using it as a climbing frame.

Shot today at my grandparents house in their huge garden. I haven't had much chance to shoot any spring flowers around my home, only a few daffodils here and there but not much else. This was a golden opportunity to get some macro shots of various flowers just to have some photos from spring. After shooting some daisies, a monkey-puzzle tree and a few other flowers I found these white bells amongst a bed of blue bells being lifted out by the sun. Luckily one group had this little fella attached. Within the brief time the sun was out I took as many shots as I could in the hope of getting a usable image. Out of about 20 usable images this was my favourite and after a bit of cropping its one of my favourite photos of the year.
