because he's to smart.
He has studied all the book's,
and discovered all kinds of nooks.
So many hearts he has stole,
so he can take control.
But people still love him,
even though the numbers are slim.
But he still thrives,
as he survives.
In his lonely Kingdom of hearts.
Drabble: Ansem's DreamsHeart of the Realm: "Ansem's Dreams"
Character: Ansem Seeker of Darkness
"This seems to be a pattern," the boy observed. "The only answers I ever need to look up are ones that are nowhere to be found. So much for others having walked the path of life before me! It's useless," he said, slamming the book and chucking it over his shoulder. He put his face in his hands, elbows on his desk, and ruffled his own, dark hair. After a moment, dark eyes looked up, unseeing, rather peering into the realm of thought, into the realm of his dreams...
In the first dream, he was on a ship driven only by oarsmen. He and his father were trying to escape from a pursuing army, for they had just escaped imprisonment for some unknown crime. The oarsmen were no match for the superior forces driving the boats behind them, however, so his father ordered that all of the crew's bedsheets be made into makeshift sails. While Ansem was helping him do this, however, he noticed a door ajar in one of the cabins.

Ansem Report 14
Believed though I did, that darkness was the true paradise sealed within the realm of Kingdom Hearts, I now believe I made a fatal error...
I thought I had reached my journey's end, and that my understanding would finely be complete. But at the great heart's gate, where I was seeking total darkness, I was swallowed by the light. Kingdom Hearts is pure light; only a fool would still doubt this.

I apologize for that! Lots of un-finished business. I'm unsure of when we'll pick back up on monthly themes, but I really am interested in pulling together for a nifty new group icon. Just as an overall group activity.

Is anyone still interested in doing this? Maybe we can make different designs and make a vote on which we like best?

It appears as if one of the best Ansem artists on all of DA has gone.... We had their stuff in our Favorites gallery for a while, but it's all vanished now. I could recall the title of one of their deviations, and managed to turn up a backlogged thumbnail in Google [link] ("As the Walls are Closing In") but the search lead only to a broken DA link. I THINK their DA name was ollin.
